Once you book your session, we will begin with the planning. With the end result in mind, we will discuss everything from what to wear, through how to prepare for your session to where and how you wish to display the art pieces created. This consultation will help you get the answers to all of your questions and gives me a chance to get to know you and your family. Being well prepared for a session makes the whole process go smoother and ensures that you will be provided with beautiful products that will fit your style and personality.
2. The Session
Creativity and design lead to beautiful results!
Proper planning and setting goals at our consultation will make your session go smoothly. All my newborn and fine art sessions take place in my home studio. Maternity, family, and commercial sessions can be held in the studio or on location. My sessions are never rushed, I take pride in being thorough and paying attention to detail. Snacks and refreshments will be provided during our time together.
My newborn sessions are entirely baby-led. I pay close attention to baby's cues to keep him/her as happy and calm as possible. I will work with your baby in a very delicate way, slowly and gently guiding him/her into every pose. For this reason, a session can take up to 3 hours. The well being and safety of your precious newborn is my number one priority. My studio is always clean, I am up to date on my vaccinations and use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the photoshoot. The temperature is set to warm to keep your baby comfortable. I highly encourage you to get into some of the pictures with your baby. As a mom of three, I know that sometimes we feel less than confident to be photographed right after giving birth, but please don't let that keep you from capturing the most amazing connection between you and the little human you brought into the world!
3. The Ordering Appointment
What will you purchase?
Your Viewing & Ordering Appointment is the time when you get to see the effort put into your session pay off. It is important that all decision-makers are present at the ordering session to ensure you leave my studio with choices you are confident with. I will showcase all the images in a slideshow and then help you sort through them and make the final decisions on what products will look best with your decor. I will show you all the options for wall groupings with special software that helps you envision the styles, sizes, and colours on your own walls. All products are one of a kind and of the highest quality available on the market. About 3-4 weeks after your ordering appointment, your art pieces will be ready for pickup. You will receive a phone call or an email to arrange for you a time when you can take home your beautiful products and enjoy them every day.
